Eligibility requirements
 

  • 18-29 years old
  • High school graduate or GED
  • Low to moderate income
  • Authorized to work in the United States for the full duration of the program
  • Live within commuting distance of a Year Up United location. Training is offered through a hybrid program model, so you must be able to regularly attend in-person days throughout the duration of the program
  • Available five days a week (M-F) for the entire duration of the program
  • Highly motivated to learn new technical and professional skills
  • Have not obtained a Bachelor’s degree

 

 

 

Do you have DACA status?

Young adults who are authorized to work in the United States for the full duration of the program are eligible to participate in Year Up United. For more, see our DACA Guidance page.

 

Hybrid program reminder:

Year Up United training is provided through a hybrid program model, combining in-person and virtual learning opportunities for students. To be eligible for Career Pathways, you must be within commuting distance to the location you are applying throughout the duration of the program.
