Year Up Career Connect is a 6-week program (only 2-4 hours per week) with a curriculum proven to equip community college students with the career readiness skills highly sought by today's employers, helping you kickstart your career. The program is flexible and offered to community college students at no cost to you.

How it Works
- Participate in engaging live workshops with an expert facilitator, covering topics such as building confidence, motivation, brand awareness, and growth mindset.
- Engage in weekly group coaching and optional 1:1 coaching sessions.
- Build community with fellow students, and expand your network.
- Gain practical career navigation skills in resume building, cover letter writing, job search, interviewing, and more.
- Choose the session times that work best for you – the flexible format is designed to fit into a busy student’s schedule.
- Following the 6-week program, access a supplemental 8 weeks of career skills development, during which you will receive additional resources and community support as you continue progressing on your career goals.
- Successful program completers earn connections to our placement partners, who will work to help you secure meaningful employment.

Eligibility
For our Fall 2024 session, students at any U.S. community college who are over the age of 18 and nearing the completion of their program (degree or certificate) are welcome to apply to Year Up Career Connect.
- The deadline to apply is Friday, September 27.
- Orientation is the week of September 30, and the program begins on October 15.
