Karen Reardon

KAREN REARDON is a human resources (HR) executive at Bank of America for Merrill Wealth Management, The Private Bank, and Regional Banking. Regional Banking includes Retail, Preferred, Small Business, as well as Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking, Data, Digital & Global Marketing, and Global Transaction Services & Enterprise Payments.

Reardon’s responsibilities include developing HR strategies and aligning HR capabilities to support business growth and performance objectives. This includes end-to-end accountability for leadership development, talent acquisition, learning, employee relations, compensation, diversity and inclusion, change management, manager effectiveness and performance management.

Reardon has been with Bank of America for 27 years. Following the FleetBoston transition in 2004, she served as HR executive for the Private Bank. In 2005, she was named the Learning Executive for GWIM and was responsible for leading a team in the design and delivery of programs to enhance sales leadership capabilities. Reardon has also held HR executive positions for other businesses, including Global Marketing and Global Risk Management.

Prior to joining Bank of America, Reardon worked at a New England regional bank for nine years, holding a variety of HR roles with increasing responsibility.

Reardon graduated from the University of Illinois where she received a bachelor’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology. In addition, she graduated from the Harvard Business School’s Strategic Human Resources Management Program.
