2nd Annual “Team Up with Year UP" - Boston
On Saturday, September 25, 2010 Year Up Boston will host our 2nd Annual basketball tournament is a friendly competition, lunch, and a chance to meet new people. The winning teams will go home with prizes and more importantly, bragging rights. This 3 on 3 tournament format, provides an excellent opportunity for entertaining clients and business prospects while helping a most vulnerable segment of our community. Based on the success of our first tournament, we are looking to double the size of this event, with around 150 attendees.

Honoring The Carlyle Group and Jack Davies, founder of AOL International
Year Up is dedicated to empowering young adults, ages 18 to 24, with the skills and opportunities to reach their full potential. Since 2006, Year Up National Capital Region has served hundreds of young adults from Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia, providing them with education, job skills, and internships with corporate partners from throughout the region.
Our inaugural gala will support the Year Up program, celebrate the young people we serve, and honor our individual, corporate, and community partners.
